Moving from on-premise to cloud-hosted Autodesk Forma provides improved multi-site collaboration for Plant 3D users.
The 4 week accelerator will guide your team through standardizing content, project setup access, content deployment, external reference management, and Autodesk Forma provides improved workflows.
Evaluation
In the first session, we identify critical workflows, validate the environment is ready, define roles and permissions, select a project suitable for a sandbox, and being the content migration process.
Configuration
The configuration session continues the content migration and assists administrators with configuration changes, and testing deployed content. The sandbox project will be configured with new external references, and the update process will be tested and reviewed. Navisworks scheduled publishing will be setup so the sandbox project has a daily updated model.
Training
The Plant 3D users will be introduced to the sandbox and the new tools they have to work with. They will create new design content, and creating a new mini-drawing package.
Review
Building in quality control to the design process, Autodesk Forma additional ways to do model reviews. The users will check each other content and issue the mini-drawing package.
